About Us
Audubon Church of Christ is a Non-Denominational church serving Audubon, Iowa and the surrounding community. As a Christian church we adhere to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We follow His teachings and those of the New Testament church.
As an independent entity, our decisions are made by the congregation and not governed by another external authority. We choose our own pastor and elders for leadership.
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and serves as our authority and guide.
God is our Creator and sustains all life. Jesus is the one and only Son of God.
Through His death, burial, and resurrection we are given the opportunity of eternal life in Heaven.
The Old Testament is provided to prepare us for the New Testament and covenant with Christ.
Acceptance of Christ brings the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to guide and transform our lives.
Mission
We seek to reach and teach others about God.
Matthew 28 is our guide:
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Vision
Audubon Church of Christ has entered into a partnership with Calvary's Local Church Initiative to bring renewed health and growth to our church and community.
